I felt especially creepy the other day when I stepped into Abercrombie & Fitch. I was the oldest woman there buying clothes for myself. [Take that back- there may have been a mother buying an armload of shirts on sale for her children, but, based on the fashion choices she was wearing, I'm guessing not. *Shudders*] Now, the only reason I stepped into A&F was because my mother made a thoughtful,
Anyway, long story short, my mom purchased skinny jeans in the wrong hem length, so I had to exchange for another length. (I probably could have spared myself the torture if I had just fessed up, but I ALWAYS return my mom's gifts, and these were actually kind of cute... I just couldn't do it.) Sad thing is... I LOVE these jeans. LOVE THEM. I'm actually embarrassed by how much I like them. They are so comfortable, they fit well... My mom {finally} hit one out of the park. Am I too old to wear them?
I just don't know. I just don't know... What do you think? When are you too old to shop at places like F21 and A&F? Or should I just get over it????
Happy Wednesday!

I totally agree! Ugh, Abercrombie, I just get a wierd vibe going in there anymore! Great post, glad to know I'm not alone :)

I agree...there comes a point when those stores are so age specific and it makes shopping there uncomfortable. I'm a huge JCrew and Zara fan, but apart from those two, where else do late 20's-30 somethings go???
If I had more $$, I'd go to Anthropologie... Have you tried Tulle? They have a vintage-y feel that's updated and sweet- and their price point is pretty fair.
