Why, hello!

I am so glad you are here!

I started this blog in 2007, writing about fashion and college life. I decided to start afresh in 2017, because life has changed tremendously in 10 years (and it keeps on getting better, just not easier. You know- adulting.)

I lalalove your comments, and if you have any questions, please, pipe up!

Random things you might want to know...

Current Occupation: I'm a high school agriculture teacher, wife, mama to David, and Kermit wrangler.

Pet Peeves: I hate TV's that are on really loud.  Frumpy, unkempt shoes. Kitchen sinks that are full of dirty dishes. Laundry that is washed and not folded.

Favorite Things: Shoes. French bulldogs.  Hunter/jumper horses. Big, fabulous purses. Trenta black iced teas, no classic. Great books. Big hats.

What I Can't Live Without:  My family. Sunscreen- SPF every day for life. Perrier water. Sushi. Beach days. Horses and horseback riding. Fashion and fitness magazines- I have at least 10 subscriptions last time I counted. Online shopping. Good shoes. Self-tanner (see SPF reference above- but not Trump level self tanner. God no.)

Little known facts

-I am proud to be a Tri Delta alumnae.
-I used to want to be a marine biologist. I was obsessed with whales and dolphins. I realized I wasn't smart enough to do this when I failed my junior high math class.
-I am terrified of two things: heights and failure. I do whatever I can to avoid both.
-I can cook well, I just rarely do.
-I have never broken a single bone. But I have been dragged for about 40 feet by a horse. I'm not a wimp (about some things.)
